The Story Behind EventWeis
In 2014, I was thriving as an IT project manager, leading million-dollar implementations. Despite my success, I felt unfulfilled and decided to pivot into the hospitality industry. Event planning quickly became my passion and a natural extension of my organizational skills.
When I first entered the event industry, I noticed a troubling lack of organization. Event setups were often chaotic, with tasks poorly managed, vendors unclear on their roles, and sponsors unsure of how to gauge success. It was clear there was a need for a better approach.
Clients and vendors began to notice that working with me was different—more streamlined, less stressful, and highly efficient. This inspired me to create the Strategic Event Path, a structured planning process that ensures every detail is accounted for. This process has been the cornerstone of EventWeis since its launch in 2017.
My name is Cheryl Weis, and I am the founder of EventWeis. With over 20 years of experience as a project manager, I have successfully planned and executed more than 150 events, ranging from corporate conferences to elegant galas. My mission is to transform event visions into unforgettable realities that exceed expectations.
